Jim Mullen, RN, BSN, JD | Attorney
Jim Mullen is a passionate and driven advocate for those in need. After completing his undergraduate degree in finance from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, Jim worked in corporate foreign exchange as a treasury analyst. Despite finding success in this field, Jim’s desire to help others naturally led him to pursue a career in nursing.
Jim graduated in the top 20% of his nursing school class and spent the next four years working in critical care and trauma settings at safety net hospitals and high-volume emergency rooms such as Grady Memorial in Atlanta, Georgia. He later worked as charge nurse at Methodist Charlton in South Dallas.
This experience gave Jim a first-hand look at the devastation a traumatic accident can have not only on the victim, but an entire family.

With that in mind, Jim pursued a law degree at UNT Dallas College of Law where he collected numerous honors and awards. While in law school, Jim served as the acquisitions editor for the On the Cusp law review, won the moot court competition, and ultimately graduated magna cum laude.
After five years away from nursing, Jim swapped his suit for scrubs and put his nursing skills back to work when he traveled to New York City to temporarily serve on the frontlines of America's hotzone during the COVID-19 pandemic.
As a "nurse lawyer" Jim is able to empathize from both patient and client perspectives. He uses his nursing background in evaluating every case to make sure the client's best interest is always priority.
In his free time Jim enjoys spending time with his wife, Gina and their daughters Gracie and Georgia. Jim also enjoys playing golf poorly and watching football!
